Brenda Yvonne Lail

Brenda Yvonne Lail, 84, of Westerville, OH departed this life on March 8, 2025 after a long struggle with dementia. Brenda was born in 1940 to Cecil Bowen and Evelyn Payseur in Belmont, NC. She later settled on John's Island, SC where she raised her two surviving children, Paul Lail of New Albany, OH and Maria Paige Adams of Charleston, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents and her younger sister Janice Doyle.

Brenda enjoyed watching tv and watching wildlife, especially squirrels, in her later years and was always happy to see her beloved friends Sharon Henderson, Tina Garett and Robert Cervantes, David Garrett and Kristina Keck, Bob and Sherry Deiter. The family is eternally grateful for the help and kindness that so graciously and kindly extended to her even through these difficult times.

We owe an enormous amount of gratitude to the doctors and staff at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus who went above and beyond to insure her final days were comfortable and that the family had all available resources available to us.

A private memorial for family and friends will be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be made in her name to the Mt. Carmel Foundation palliative care unit.
