Beverly Holmes

Beverly Jane Holmes, known and loved by many as “Auntie” was born October 3, 1951 in Greasy Ridge, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017. Preceded in death by her mother, Meda Clary; sister, Mary Holmes and brother, Arlie David Holmes. She was the matriarch of our family and will be loved and missed by all. Left to cherish her memory are Alexander “AJ” (Jordann) Holmes, Alexis (Dante) Bryant, George Bryant and Harley Davidson, her great nieces and nephews she lovingly took on the responsibility of raising. Also survived by brother, Richard (Connie) Holmes; sister Robin Dotson; nieces Heather (Keith) Ackerman, Sara (Joey) Holmes, Leigh “Boo” (Jayson) Holmes, and Riley Taylor; nephews, Joda and Josh Dotson and Aaron (Amy) Holmes; great niece Taylor Teasley; great nephew Jayson “Eddie” Cline, and great-great nephew Elijah Holmes. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm and Friday, June 23, 2017 from 2 pm to 3 pm followed by a service at 3 pm at Shaw- Davis Funeral Home, 34 W. Second Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43201.
