Ben Allen Pierpont

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ben Allen Pierpont. Ben passed away on June 7th, 2023, at the age of 74, in Columbus, Ohio after complications of open heart surgery.

He was born on August 31, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to John and Sarah Pierpont. Ben attended Classen High School in Oklahoma City and went on to receive higher education at Foot Hills College in Los Altos Hills, CA, where he was a dedicated member of the swim team under scholarship.

Ben proudly served his country as a member of the Marine Corp.

After his military service, Ben embarked on a successful career where he worked for Oklahoma Gas & Electric and New York Life. He founded his own business, Professional Clothiers, Inc., where he devoted his passion to making people feel their best. He was a man of strong work ethic and dedication to his craft.

Ben is survived by his loving wife, Julia Skinner-Pierpont, and their daughter, Emma Pierpont. He is preceded in death by his father, John Pierpont, mother, Sarah Pierpont, and sister, Laurie Pierpont.

Memorial services will be held in his honor as a private gathering for his family to pay their respects and celebrate his life.

Ben will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his dedication to his work and his service to this country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
