Beavogui Nimene

Beavogui “Boogie” Nimene, age 37 died unexpectedly on December 16,2017 in Columbus, Ohio. He was in the company of friends.

Boogie was born November 11, 1980 in San Francisco, California to Jonathan & Shirley Nimene. He was the second child to come from their marriage. In 1995, at the age of 14, Boogie along with his sister Delphia moved to Lorain, Ohio to live with their uncle Lawrence Nimene, who he affectionately called Pops.

Boogie was a member of the 1998 graduating class of Lorain Admiral King. After high school, he moved to Columbus to attend The Ohio State School of Cosmetology & became a licensed barber. In addition to cutting hair, Boogie also worked at the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, grandparents, 3 aunts & 1 uncle.

Survivors include brother James of New Jersey, sisters Munah, Anna, Mamie of Liberia & Delphia of Columbus, Ohio. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends who will mourn his passing.
