Ann Hotz

Ann Moire Hotz, daughter of James and Julie Hotz of Marion, Ohio, born January 19, 1954, beloved sister, daughter, aunt, and friend of many, peacefully passed away May 28th after a long and hard fought illness.

Passionate and determined, Ann advocated for consumers as an attorney and also worked as a social worker prior to her legal career. Creative and athletic, her passions included reading, writing, theater, the great outdoors, and walking/running with her beloved dogs.

She enriched the lives of those who knew her and will be greatly missed by all. Ann received her BA from Ohio Dominican University, and her MSA, MPA, and JD from The Ohio State University. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send donations in her memory to Planned Parenthood of Central Ohio, The Olympic Community Action Program, or Ohio Dominican University.
