Andrew Richard Denkowski, age 67 of Columbus Ohio humbly accepted his invitation to be with the Lord, on Sunday June 24, 2018. He was home in the company of his beloved family and dearest friends. He was Born July 21, 1950 to the late George S. Denkowski and Gerda Denkowski (Frischholtz) in Munich, Germany. His family immigrated to the U.S. in late 1951, living in Texas and then N.E. Ohio.  He graduated from Woodridge High School “Class of ’69” in Cuyahoga Falls and then attained his B.S. in Political Science from The Ohio State University in 1973. He obtained his Real Estate License in 1974 and formed Denkowski Real Estate in 1982. In 1986 he began working for Chemical Abstracts Service as a Computer Programming Assistant. In addition to a long and fruitful career in Real Estate and Computer Programming, he was an avid stock investor and proud President of his Amateur Radio Club, known to his radio buddies as Andy, “N8RFZ”. He was a valued member of Master Kim’s Taekwondo School, holding the rank of First Degree Black Belt. Andy is survived by his “Ladies”, loving wife of 40 years, Cheryl (Renner); and daughters Alycia (Zach) Johnson, Anna (Tim) Eller; grandsons Denver and Raleigh; and brothers Peter (Randal Weber), George C. (Kathie), Charles (Cordula), and Felix Denkowski. Family and friends will be celebrating his life from 5-7 pm Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at Xenos Christian Fellowship in the study center auditorium at 1340 Community Park Dr. Columbus, Ohio 43229. Family will hold a private scattering ceremony on Andrew’s Birthday on July 21, 2018 at Union Cemetery.
