Anderson West (Sunrise) July 27, 1943 ~ (Sunset) January 27, 2020

Anderson West, born July 27, 1943 to Rubin and Geneva West passed away January 27, 2020.  He graduated from Grove City High School.  Anderson was a proud Army Veteran with the desire to have a military home going.  He was also known as Sonny to those who knew and loved him.  He loved to fish, loved tinkering around and worked well with his hands by fixing televisions, lawn mowers and whatever else he could get his hands on.  He built a shed with his knowledge of working well with his hands, and that shed still stands today.

Anderson was predeceased by his daughter, Deirdre Jackson, parents, Rubin and Geneva West, brothers, George Evans and Samuel Ward, sister, Ruth Geordis Smith, grandmother, Gertude Kimber, uncle, Calvin March, aunt, Sarah Witherspoon, nephews Leroy Boyd, Anthony West and E'sta Bonn Pitts and niece, Talia West.

Surviving family; son, Philip (Heather) Jackson, daughter, Malinda Johnson-McCarey, grandchildren, Philisha Jackson and Philip Jackson Jr., Da'Keisha, Dominic and Alexis Jackson, Ja'Lila Tinsley, Terrance II and Brittney McCarey, great grandchildren, Tyy'Sair Ferguson, Cayden, Amari and I'Leana Jackson, Isaiah George and My'Liyah Hughley, siblings, Irene Boyd, Calvin (Judith) West, James West, Donna West and Marlin (Denise) West and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
