Amy Mignogna

Amy Louise Mignogna (Lubker) 50, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 after fighting breast cancer for almost two and a half years. Amy was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Martha. She is survived by her daughter Kelly and her brother Marc.

Amy was born on May 22, 1970 in St. Ignace, Michigan. She graduated from Otterbein College with a B.A. in Political Science. She went on to get her MPA from The Ohio State University’s John Glenn School of Public Affairs. An extremely hard worker, she was a lobbyist in Columbus for nearly 20 years before moving to Alexandria, Virginia in 2013 to further her career.

She loved to travel – some of her favorite places included Mackinac Island, Michigan and New York City. Although she didn’t have any grandchildren, she loved her “granddogs” Lucy and Darla very much. She never met a stranger and loved to spend time with friends and family.
