Born in Albany, NY on October 19th, 1979, Amanda Lynn Peck, beloved daughter and loved sister, passed away unexpectedly in her home in Westerville, Ohio on October 13, 2021.
She is survived by her mother Diane Florence of Westerville, OH, daughter Maddox Lynn Cardamone of Delmar, NY, brother Jeff Peck & wife, Nicole (her best-friend) of Westerville, OH, brother Peter Guenette, Sheridan, WY, nieces Liliana & Taylor Peck, nephew Alexander Peck, maternal grandparents Lucille & James Dillenbeck of Gansevoort, NY, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as devoted friends and her pet fish Blue.
Raised in Waterford, NY she grew up playing basketball and softball before graduating Waterford-Halfmoon High School in 1999. Soon after graduating she worked various jobs until she found her passion of helping others at The Center for Disability. Caring for her clients gave her great pride and she loved to invite them to thanksgiving dinners with her family. She had attended Hudson-Valley Community College to study Criminal Justice and further her goals. She was a Batman fanatic and loved Jack Skellington of Nightmare Before Christmas. She also loved watching horror movies. Life had brought her to Ohio to be around the family she loved and she had become very proud of her recent accomplishments.
A favorite saying of hers was, “I’m not saying I’m Batman. I’m just saying you haven’t seen me and Batman in the same room together.”
A celebration of life will be held at a future date and time with her family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to Volunteers of America at www.voa.org
