Alvin Roberts

ROBERTS, Alvin L., 85, of Gahanna, OH, peacefully passed away into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on Monday, January 21, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeanne Roberts, daughter, Kimberly (Brad), sons, Mike Roberts and Brian (Laura) Roberts; His four grandchildren, Aaron (Allison), Angela, and Katherine Mann, and Allison Roberts; His siblings, John (Taya) Roberts and Angela Crowell. He is preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Angela Roberts. Alvin was a retired Navy Captain dedicating 40 years of service, as well as a lifetime of service in the Lord’s Army as a member of the Community of Christ Reynoldsburg. His final thoughts to his loved ones and friends: I love to tell the story, ‘Twill be my theme in glory, To tell the old, old story, of Jesus and His love.” A memorial service will be held at a later time.
