Allyn Juris

Allyn B. Juris, age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters’ love on Thursday, June 14, 2018 in Columbus, OH. She was born January 7, 1941 in Wildwood, NJ to the late Albert S. and Evelyn (Hunt) Bailie and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Skip Juris. Allyn is survived by daughters Pam Moritz (Jeff) and Kim Sokolowsky (Frank); 6 granddaughters Emily, Sarah, Caroline, Sasha, Sadie and Stella; and her sister, Evelyn Bailie. Allyn graduated as valedictorian of Wildwood High School class of 1959 and from Penn State University in 1964. Allyn was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She married Skip Juris in 1965 and they had a deep love and true partnership throughout their marriage. Allyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a brave, strong, independent woman that was loved by many. Allyn was proud of her daughters and granddaughters and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved knitting and golf and was very involved with the TTCMV Ladies Golf Association. Allyn enjoyed the news, a passion she said came from her family being in the newspaper business. At her request, after life arrangements are being handled by Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes and Cremation Services. There will be a Celebration of Life at The Country Club at Muirfield Village on Friday, July 6th from 12-2 pm at 8715 Muirfield Drive, Dublin, OH.
