Allen W. Eal, age 78, passed away peacefully September 20, 2018 at home. Born April 25, 1940 in Columbus, OH to predeceased parents Raymond and Johanna Eal. Preceded in death by brothers and sisters Betty, MaryAnn, Pete, Paul, Thomas and Joseph. Survived by brother Donald (Margaret) Eal; nephew Raymond Eal, niece Margie (Jim) Schall; plus several other nieces and nephews. Special caretakers Michael and Stannisha Tavares. Allen was a devoted member of Sacrad Heart Catholic Church, a longtime and faithful City of Columbus Division of Water employee. He was known for whit and sense of humor even though a little shy at first. Many may remember crowning him as the honorary ‘Mayor of 2nd Avenue’ in Italian Village.
