Alberta (Owen) Christoff

Alberta (Owen) Christoff, 93 years old, passed away February 4, 2023 in Hilliard, Ohio. Earth lost a beautiful soul but heaven gained a new angel. Alberta was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 11, 1930. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and went onto Miami Jacobs Business College. She worked at NCR as an executive assistant. While in high school she met Chris Christoff and they married several years later. She helped him set up his medical practice in Beavercreek, Ohio and worked beside him for several years. They started an Arabian Horse Farm, Imperial Hill Arabians, raising and showing for many years.

She had a wonderfully rich life caring for her children, the show horses and pets on the farm. She enjoyed spending time in her condo at Siesta Key for many years. Later in life she was involved in Volksmarches as well as ballroom dancing. She performed in several dance competitions.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Albert Owen, her sister Mary Warner, her brother Dale Owen and her grandson Wesley Christoff. She is survived by her five children, Chris Christoff, Lori McPeek (Jack), Jeff Christoff (Rachel), Gregg Christoff (Janet) and Amy Christoff (Joe), eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

There will be no services according to Alberta’s wishes. If you would like to celebrate her life donations may be made to RESCUEDohio in New Albany or Greater Dayton Labrador Retriever Rescue in Brookville, OH.
