Adrian Ann Ciardelli, 57, of Columbus, OH, passed away at The Ohio State University Ross Heart Hospital on February 4, 2018 after a prolonged battle with multiple medical conditions due to Turner Syndrome. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Barbara Alexander (Michael) of Sherborn, MA, and Rena M. Edington (James) of Dublin, OH, and her brother Val CIardelli of Columbus, OH, beloved nieces and nephews, Jimmy Edington (Gina) of Columbus, OH, Maggie Alexander of Wellington, FL, Nicholas Edington of Dublin, OH, Christopher Mayfield, Andrew Mayfield, Valentino Ciardelli, and Lindsay Ciardelli of Columbus, OH, and grand-niece and nephew Angelina and Matthew Edington of Columbus, OH. She was predeceased by her parents Margaret (Wentzel) Ciardelli and Valentino CIardelli. Adrian grew up in St. Francis of Assisi parish, attended Sacred Heart School, St. Joseph's Academy, Bishop Watterson High School (1978), and earned a B.S. degree in Nursing from The Ohio State University in 1984. She worked as an RN at Grant Hospital until she joined the Ohio Bureau of Workmen's Compensation as a case review nurse where she worked for many years until disability due to heart failure forced an early retirement. An expert singer, Adrian sang with the Worthington Chorus and loved singing with her family of many accomplished musicians. She enjoyed travel, movies, fashion and animals; she was a volunteer at Canine Collective. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
