Aaron Michael Caldwell, just 38 years old, passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2019 after battling illness for many years. He is survived by his older sister Athena Caldwell Mathis, brother-in-law Grant Mathis, nephew Greyson Mathis, and nieces Avah and Ariannah Mathis.
Aaron was preceded in death by his parents Larry and Lynne Caldwell, joining them and many awaiting relatives on the other side. He was especially close with his grandfather William Caldwell, and is probably teasing him incessantly!
Aaron grew up in North Canton, Ohio. He played soccer and studied Taekwondo, eventually earning his third degree black belt. He was highly intelligent, graduating near the top of his class at both Glenoak High School and Malone University, where he studied history and planned on teaching. He made many friends in his life, and if you knew him, you knew his adorable grin, smart sense of humor, and warm embrace.
Aaron enjoyed attending war re-enactments, sporting events, and concerts. He was a talented photographer and cook. He was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, and liked watching the games with family or friends. Most of his spare time was spent reading or watching movies, and he liked discussing both! He was most proud of being an uncle, and will be greatly missed.
